Ousmane Drame had 10 points, 14 rebounds and a career-high six blocks to lead Quinnipiac to a 59-53 win over Boston University on Saturday.
James Johnson had 16 points and Zaid Hearst added 10 for the Bobcats (8-5), who have won six of their past seven games.
Quinnipiac trailed 32-19 at halftime but steadily chipped away at the deficit in the second half. The Bobcats took the lead for good when James Johnson hit two free throws with 5:59 remaining for a 43-42 lead.
The Bobcats went the final 6:40 without a field goal but made 19 of 22 free throws during that stretch to seal the win. The hot free throw shooting made up for a 32.1 percent (17 of 53) performance from the field.
Darryl Partin scored 19 points and Matt Griffin added 11 for the Terriers (4-10), who have lost six in a row.
