Kansas State fans want Texas to ``Fear the Beard.''
While some schools hand out T-shirts for big games, Kansas State dished out 1,000 fake beards to students for Monday's matchup with the top-ranked Longhorns.
It's an homage to the facial hair of Wildcats point guard Jacob Pullen, who sports a scruffy beard along his jaw line and neck.
Fans at Bramlage Coliseum started growing beards like Pullen's and wearing shirts with Pullen's image and ``Fear the Beard'' in recent weeks.

The school joined in by handing out faux Abraham Lincoln beards for the game between Top 10 teams. Pullen had fun with the promotion, sporting some Lincoln fuzz before revealing the real thing as the Wildcats warmed up.
