Princeton pounces on Columbia 74-64
NEW YORK (AP) T.J. Bray scored 25 points and Princeton ran away from Columbia 74-64 on Saturday picking up its fourth win in a row.
Princeton (19-8, 7-6) led Columbia (19-12, 8-6) by as many as 11 points in the first half and settled for a 32-24 lead at the break after holding the Lions to just four points in the final 5:24 of the period.
The Tigers bettered their lead to double-digits, 46-36, on a Clay Wilson trey with 14:06 to play and marched on to a 16-point, 55-39 advantage after holding Columbia scoreless for six minutes in the second half. Princeton finished the game hitting 7 of 8 from the penalty line.
Maodo Lo scored 22 for Columbia, Cory Osetkowski added 19 points.
The Tigers can move into a tie for third place in the Ivy League with a victory over Penn in its final regular season game on Tuesday.
