Princeton cruises to 80-62 win over Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) Steven Cook scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Princeton led early and cruised to an 80-62 win over Brown on Saturday.

Spencer Weisz and Henry Caruso added 12 points apiece for the Tigers (13-14, 6-5 Ivy League). Amir Bell chipped in nine points and dished five assists. The team hit 49.1 percent from the field overall and 78.3 percent from the line.

Weisz and Cook each sank a 3-pointer within the first minute, helping Princeton jump to an early 16-6 lead and the Tigers were up 43-29 at the break.

A Hans Brase 3-pointer extended the Tiger's lead to 67-38 with 10:30 left to play and Brown could not make up the difference, despite outscoring Princeton 22-13 in the final 10 minutes.

Steven Spieth had 17 points off the bench for the Bears (13-16, 4-8). Dockery Walker added 10 points and five rebounds.
