PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Spencer Weisz scored 19 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the field to lead Princeton to a 71-61 victory over Norfolk State on Tuesday night.

Henry Caruso and Clay Wilson each came off the bench and finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Hans Brase added a team high 12 rebounds.

Princeton (6-9) won despite shooting a cold 38.9 percent from the field and losing the rebounding battle 40-34. However the Tigers made up for it by hitting nine total 3-pointers while holding Norfolk State to only two, getting to the free throw line 29 times, and forcing 16 Spartans turnovers.

The Tigers led 31-27 at the half and kept Norfolk State (9-8) at arm's length for much of the second half, building a lead as large as 11 late.
