Kareem Maddox scored 15 points and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and Princeton rallied to beat Brown 78-60 on Friday night in the Tigers' Ivy League opener.

The double-double was Maddox's second straight and third of the season.

Princeton (13-4), which has won three games in a row and 11 of its last 12, posted its highest point total against Brown since an 85-57 win on March 4, 2000.

The Bears (7-10, 0-3), who knocked off the Tigers 57-54 last February, took a 21-13 lead 10 minutes into the game.

The Tigers then closed out the first half with a 29-8 run and opened the second with a 9-0 spurt. Princeton's biggest lead was 24 with 4:35 left.

Douglas Davis added 14 points and Ian Hummer and Dan Mavraides scored 13 apiece for Princeton, which had a 42-28 rebounding advantage.

Matt Sullivan scored a career-high 22 for the Bears, who have lost two in a row.
