Princeton 77, Dartmouth 55
Douglas Davis scored 14 points and Princeton won its third straight by routing Dartmouth 77-55 Friday night.
Kareem Maddox and Ian Hummer each added 12 points for the Tigers (23-5, 11-1 Ivy League), who play Harvard Saturday night with first place on the line. A victory would secure an NCAA Tournament berth for Princeton as the league's outright champion.
A Princeton loss, however, would set up a potential tie with Harvard and could lead to a playoff to determine which team gets the NCAA Tournament berth. The Ivy League does not play a conference tournament.
Princeton took control against Dartmouth with a 16-0 run in the first half, helping establish a 35-20 halftime lead. Davis also moved up three spots to 21st on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,068 points.
R.J. Griffin had 12 points to lead Dartmouth (5-22, 1-12), which lost its 10th game in a row.
