Princeton 77, Brown 63
Douglas Davis and Ben Hazel scored 12 points each as Princeton took control early and coasted to a 77-63 Ivy League victory over Brown on Friday night.
The Tigers (11-9, 2-2) used a 13-0 run to take a 21-8 lead with just 6 1/2 minutes elapsed. Davis hit two 3-pointers and Mack Darrow and Hazel each made one during the run.
Princeton made 9 of 15 from long range on the way to a 48-34 halftime lead. The Bears (7-15, 1-4) never got closer than 11 points in the second half and trailed by as many as 23 points, 73-50, after four consecutive baskets by the Tigers.
Brendan Connolly added 11 points for Princeton, while Ian Hummer and Patrick Saunders each had nine. Hummer also had 11 rebounds and five assists.
Sean McGonagill led Brown with 17 points and Tyler Ponticelli added 13.
