Dan Mavraides hit four free throws in the last 28 seconds in leading Princeton to a 59-56 victory over Penn as each team ended its season. Mavraides had 17 points and Pawel Buczak 15 for Princeton (13-14, 8-6 Ivy), which snapped a five-game losing streak to the Quakers. Zack Rosen had 13 points and Harrison Gaines 12 for Penn (10-18, 6-8) in Tuesday night's game. In a second half that saw neither team lead by more than 3 points, the Tigers took a 55-52 edge on a jumper by Patrick Saunders with 2:34 to play. Rosen then hit two free throws and Jack Eggleston a layup to give the Quakers a 56-55 advantage with 0:57, but Mavraides hit two foul shots with 28 seconds left, then clinched the win with two more free throws at the 4.4 second mark. It was the 220th meeting between the teams. Penn holds a 122-98 edge in the all-time series.
