Princeton 59, Dartmouth 47
Douglas Davis scored 20 points, including knocking down five 3-pointers, to lead Princeton past Dartmouth 59-47 on Friday night.
Brendan Connolly added 10 points for the Tigers (12-10, 3-3 Ivy League), who outscored the Big Green 36-22 in the second half after trailing at intermission. Princeton has now alternated wins and losses over the course of the last seven games.
Down 25-23 at the break, back-to-back 3-pointers by Davis and Patrick Saunders helped spark a 10-0 Tigers run out of halftime. Princeton never trailed again. With help from Davis, the Tigers shot 8 of 17 from long range (47.1 percent).
The Big Green were just 2 of 8 from beyond the arc (25 percent).
John Golden finished with 12 points to pace the Big Green (4-19, 0-7), and Jvonte Brooks chipped in with 11. Dartmouth, the only Ivy League team without a conference win, has lost six straight games.
