Penn State will get starting point guard Talor Battle back next season.

The Nittany Lions announced Saturday that Battle removed his name from the NBA draft and will return to school for his senior year. Saturday was the deadline for underclassmen to remove their names from draft consideration.

One of the Big Ten's top point guards, Battle averaged 18.5 points a game in 2009-10, when Penn State finished 11-20 with a last-place conference finish.

Battle's return means the Nittany Lions will have four starters back next season, including forwards David Jackson, Jeff Brooks and Andrew Jones.
