Zack Rosen scored 24 points and had four assists, becoming Pennsylvania's all-time assists leader with 506, as the Quakers outlasted Lafayette 78-73 Wednesday night.

There were 10 ties and 15 lead changes. The Quakers (7-8) broke the final tie, at 59 with 7:12 left, and built a seven-point lead.

After the Leopards (5-10) got within a point on Rob Delaney's layup with 21 seconds left, Rosen and Tyler Bernardini each hit a pair of free throws to seal it. Bernardini finished with 17 points.

Penn, which came in having lost three of its past four, had a 30-16 scoring advantage in the paint.

Lafayette was more successful beyond the arc, hitting 11 of 25 3-pointers compared to 9 of 22 for the Quakers.

The Leopards, who have lost five of their last six, were paced by Jim Mower with 20 points and Ryan Willen with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
