Pacific defeats Loyola Marymount 82-72

LOS ANGELES (AP) T.J. Wallace scored a career-high 22 points, including six 3-pointers, as Pacific defeated Loyola Marymount 82-72 on Saturday.

Sama Tuku added 14 points and Andrew Bock and Trevin Harris 12 apiece for the Tigers (13-10, 4-8 West Coast Conference). Khalil Kelley grabbed 10 rebounds. Pacific shot 50 percent, and made 11 of 26 3-point attempts.

The Tigers led 32-23 at halftime. LMU got within four early in the second half but a Wallace 3-pointer put the Tigers up by 11 with 14:35 left. From there, Pacific's lead fluctuated between six and 13 points.

Evan Payne scored 18 points and Anthony Ireland 17 for LMU (11-14, 3-10). The Lions made 9 of 21 3-point tries.

The teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally in free-throw shooting and it showed. They combined to make 34 of 42 attempts for 80.9 percent.

LMU's only win in its last 11 games came at Pacific on Jan. 23.
