Pat Eveland made a 3-point basket with three-tenths of a second remaining Saturday night to give Pacific a 57-54 victory over UC Santa Barbara.
Eveland tossed up an off-balance jumper from 23 feet away and beat the buzzer after Pacific worked the ball around for the final shot following a Santa Barbara turnover with 25.6 seconds to play.
Eveland came off the bench to lead the Tigers (9-7, 2-2 Big West) with 14 points. Sam Willard had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Nyika Williams scored 10.
Orlando Johnson led UC Santa Barbara (8-6, 1-2) with 27 points, and Jon Pastorek added 10.
