OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Devin Patterson scored 23 points and Omaha beat Northern Colorado 92-82 on Wednesday.

Patterson was 7 of 12 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the line. Marcus Tyus had 19 points with six assists while CJ Carter added 17 points as Omaha (5-5) was 30 of 55 (54.5 percent) shooting and 9 of 19 from beyond the arc.

Northern Colorado (4-5) shot 47 percent and was led by Tim Huskisson and Dominique Lee with 19 points apiece. Jordan Wilson scored 18 points and Tevin Svihovec added 14 points.

Omaha used a 13-7 run midway through the first half to take a 45-32 lead at the break. The Mavericks pushed the lead to 20 on Tyus' layup with 6:43 left before cruising to the win.

Omaha was 23 of 29 at the line while the Bears were 17 of 23.
