Steven Pledger scored 22 points and Romero Osby pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Oklahoma past South Carolina State 83-48 on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma (9-1), which won its fifth straight game, outrebounded the Bulldogs 63-36 behind Osby's career-high performance that featured 14 defensive rebounds and 10 points. The Sooners committed just eight turnovers.

Andrew Fitzgerald scored 17 points for Oklahoma.

Carolina State (4-8) lost its sixth consecutive game.

Shaquil Barber came off the bench to lead the Bulldogs with 12 points. Omar Sanders added eight.

Oklahoma opened the game on a 9-2 run and frustrated the Bulldogs with its man-to-man defense. The Sooners turned up the pressure with a full-court attack that helped force nine turnovers en route to a 39-24 halftime lead.
