Adam McCoy's 29 points for North Texas topped the scoring Thursday night as the Mean Green beat Sun Belt Conference rival Arkansas State 91-82. North Texas (17-11, 10-7 SBC) led 49-29 at the half after ASU (14-14, 5-12) failed to make any of its three 3-point shots. The Red Wolves' accuracy improved after intermission, to 7-10 from 3-point range and 57 percent overall, but that wasn't enough to get them back in the game.
