North Florida snaps 4-game skid, beats NJIT 107-71

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Dallas Moore had 21 points and a career-high 11 assists to lead North Florida over New Jersey Institute of Technology 107-71 on Thursday night to snap a four-game skid.

Moore was 8 of 11 from the floor. Demarcus Daniels scored a career-best 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting to lead the Ospreys (19-10, 8-4 Atlantic Sun), who shot 68 percent from the field. Chris Davenport added 17 points and Aaron Bodager chipped in 11.

Chris Jenkins scored 16 points for NJIT (16-12, 7-5), which had its five-game win streak snapped. Ky Howard had 13 points and Damon Lynn 12 for the Highlanders.

North Florida had a double-digit lead midway through the first half and built a 53-25 halftime lead. Davenport opened the second half with a 3-pointer and the Ospreys had a 31-point lead and cruised from there.
