DELAND, Fla. (AP) Demarcus Daniels drilled a 3-pointer with more than a minute left in the game to carry North Florida to a 54-52 win at Stetson Thursday night.

Brian Pegg dunked to give the Hatters a 49-47 lead with 2:42 left, but North Florida roared back on layups by Daniels and Dallas Moore and Daniels' trey to take a 54-49 lead. Raymone Andrews was fouled behind the arc and converted all three free throws to cut the lead to two points, but Hunter Miller missed a 3-pointer that would have given Stetson the win.

Moore finished with 14 points and seven assists to lead the Ospreys (13-12, 7-5 Atlantic Sun), and was the only player to reach double-figure scoring for North Florida. Daniels finished with seven points and six rebounds.

Pegg and Willie Green scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, and Pegg pulled down eight rebounds to lead Stetson (6-17, 4-7).
