North Florida 74, Georgia Southern 46

Parker Smith hit seven 3-point shots and scored 25 points to help North Florida beat Georgia Southern 74-46 in the Las Vegas Classic championship game Sunday.

Smith also had 10 rebounds for a double-double. Travis Wallace had 20 points and eight rebounds. Beau Beech had seven points, seven rebounds and five assists.

North Florida (5-8) led 33-19 at halftime and never looked back, shooting 53.6 percent from the field for the game. Georgia Southern shot 31.5 percent. The Ospreys led by 36 points at 7:31 in the second half.

Tre Bussey led the Eagles with 12 points and six rebounds. Eric Ferguson had 10 points for the Eagles (5-7). Cameron Baskerville also had six rebounds.
