North Dakota 93, Waldorf 62
Aaron Anderson scored 18 points to lead five North Dakota players in double figures as part of a 93-62 win over Waldorf on Saturday night.
The Fighting Sioux (1-0) never trailed. They pulled out of reach midway through the first half on a 14-0 run and led by 20 points or more most of the way after that.
Troy Huff added 16 points and seven rebounds for North Dakota while Jamal Webb, Brandon Brekke and Patrick Mitchell each scored 11.
North Dakota outpaced the Warriors (1-2) in every category except turnovers (20-9). The Fighting Sioux shot 49 percent from the field; Waldorf shot 35 percent. The Fighting Sioux dominated on rebounds (46-31), assists (14-9) and blocks (8-2).
Brad Johnson led the Warriors with 12 points, all from 3-pointers, and Eddie Taylor-Boyce added 10.
