Troy Huff had 11 points and nine rebounds as North Dakota beat Eastern Michigan 54-49 in the Basketball Travelers Classic on Saturday night.
Patrick Mitchell added 10 points for North Dakota (3-4), which led most of the game but went cold from the field in the second half, hitting only 3-of-19 shots.
Brandon Bowdry led Eastern Michigan (1-5) with 20 points, but just seven came after halftime.
Eastern Michigan tied it at 47 with 1:20 remaining, but the Eagles committed two quick fouls and sent North Dakota to the line. The Fighting Sioux, who didn't have a field goal in the final 10 minutes, went 7-for-8 from the line to seal the victory.
