New Hampshire 63, Brown 50

Ferg Myrick led four players in double figures, scoring 18 points to lead New Hampshire to a 63-50 victory over Brown on Saturday.

Patrick Konan scored 14 points, Chris Pelcher 11 and Jordon Bronner 10 for the Wildcats (3-4).

Matt Sullivan led Brown (3-4) with 18 points, Sean McGonagill scored 14 and Cedric Kuakumensah 10.

New Hampshire built a 14-point lead in the first half at 29-15, but Brown chipped away with the help of two 3-pointers from McGonagill and closed the gap to 34-31 at the break.

The Bears took a 40-36 lead 5:54 into the second half on Matt Sullivan's layup, but the Wildcats' Chris Pelcher made a jumper for a 43-42 advantage with 9:24 left. New Hampshire extended it to 48-42 on Myrick's jumper at 7:03 and pulled away.

New Hampshire outshot Brown from the field 41.5 percent (22 of 53) to 32.2 percent (19 of 59).
