New Colorado basketball coach Tad Boyle has hired two assistants.

Boyle said Tuesday that he added Jean Prioleau and Mike Rohn to his staff. They will join Tom Abatemarco, who will be retained from the previous staff.

Prioleau comes to Boulder from Texas Christian University, where he spent two years as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. He was on the coaching staff at Iowa State from 2006 to 2008.

Rohn was director of basketball operations at Texas A&M the last three years. Before that, he spent seven years as an assistant to Mark Turgeon at Wichita State.

Boyle, former coach at Northern Colorado, was hired in April to replace Jeff Bzdelik, who left for Wake Forest after three seasons with Colorado.
