Nebraska-Omaha uses 14-3 OT run to put away Oral Roberts (Feb 16, 2017)

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Tra-Deon Hollins scored 24 points with nine rebounds and Nebraska-Omaha used a 14-3 run in overtime to hold off Oral Roberts 83-76 on Thursday night.
Tre'Shawn Thurman added 19 points for Omaha (14-13, 7-7 Summit League), which shot only 38 percent but hit 10 3-pointers and 19 free throws.
Two Jalen Bradley free throws for Oral Roberts (8-20, 4-10) tied the score at 67 and sent the game to overtime. A pair of Marcus Tyus free throws followed by a Thurman jam started the overtime barrage for the Mavericks, who pieced together a 14-3 run to snatch an 81-70 lead with just 34 seconds left.
Aaron Young made a 3 for the Golden Eagles to cut it back to eight, but any chance at a comeback had already been extinguished.
Albert Owens led Oral Roberts with 24 points. Bradley added 17 with eight boards.
