Dominique Sutton scored 19 points and Ebuka Anyaorah scored 18 to lead North Carolina Central to a 69-58 victory against Prairie View A&M Thursday at the Global Sports Hoops Classic.

Ray Willis and Jeremy Ingram also scored 11 points each for the Eagles (7-6), while Demondre Chapman and Ronald Wright led the Panthers (3-9) with 10 points apiece in game that featured nine lead changes and seven tied scores in the first half.

Trailing 43-42 with 12:16 remaining in the game, the Eagles went on a 12-2 run to take control of the game. Anyaorah scored seven points during that decisive stretch and Ingram ended the run with a 3-pointer for a 54-45 lead with 8:22 to play.

Despite outrebounding NCCU 37-22 and shooting 46.9 percent from the floor, Prairie View was undone by its 23 turnovers that resulted in 25 points for the Eagles.
