N. Dakota St. advances to Summit final, beats Oral Roberts

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) Lawrence Alexander had 15 points, and A.J. Jacobson scored eight of his 11 in the final 7:28 on Monday night to help second-seeded North Dakota State beat Oral Roberts 60-56 and advance to the Summit League tournament championship game for the third consecutive season.

Carlin Dupree had 13 points, on 6-of-7 shooting, and seven rebounds for the Bison (22-9), who will face top-seeded South Dakota State Tuesday night.

Obi Emegano made just 7 of 24 field goals, but had 25 points for Oral Roberts (18-14).

Dupree scored seven during a 15-4 run to close the first half and NDSU led 34-26 at the break and never trailed in the second.

Emegano's two free throws tied it at 56 with 1:38 to play, but Jacobson's layup 19 seconds later proved to be the winner. Alexander capped the scoring with a pair of free throws with 13 seconds remaining.

Oral Roberts made just 1 of 8 field goals in the final five minutes.
