Thomas Coleman scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead North Carolina A&T over Greensboro College 79-58 on Friday night.

The Aggies (3-3) led 43-23 at halftime and led by as many as 22, 43-21, before a jumper by Luqman Tijani with 37 seconds left before the break pulled the Pride within 20.

North Carolina A&T held the Pride (2-3) to 8-of-35 shooting in the first half (22.9 percent), including 2 of 15 from 3-point range (13.3 percent).

DeMetrius Upchurch came off the bench for the Aggies to add 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Marc Hill had seven assists in the victory.

Following a 3-pointer from Austin Witter with six minutes left to play, North Carolina A&T grabbed its largest lead of the night, 72-43.

Damian Dixon scored a game-high 19 points - 14 coming in the second half - for Greensboro in the loss.

North Carolina A&T held a 50-28 scoring advantage in the paint.
