N.C.-Wilmington 73, George Washington 69

Tanner Milson scored 25 points and made 7 3-pointers - including the go-ahead shot with 1:06 remaining - to lift North Carolina-Wilmington past George Washington 73-69 on Monday night.

In his first collegiate start, Milson, a freshman, shot 7 for 9 on 3's and hit consecutive shots from beyond the arc to put the Seahawks (3-3) up 66-65 with 4:19 remaining.

The lead changed hands three times before Milson drilled his final 3-pointer to give the Seahawks the lead for good at 71-69. He also sank two free throws with 11.1 seconds left.

Keith Rendleman finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds and Chad Tomko had 11 points and 10 assists for the Seahawks in their first road win of the season.

Nemanja Mikic scored 23 points, including 7 3-pointers, for the Colonials (2-3), who led 63-57 with over six minutes remaining, but failed to score a field goal over the final 3:50.
