N.C.-Wilmington 68, William & Mary 66

Donte Morales scored 16 points and North Carolina-Wilmington held on to defeat William & Mary 68-66 on Saturday and snap a three-game losing streak.

William & Mary overcame a nine-point deficit down the stretch with a 10-0 run to lead 61-60 with 3:34 remaining. The Seahawks responded with six straight points, capped by a Donte Morales dunk with 27 seconds remaining, for a 66-61 lead.

Keith Rendleman had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Tanner Milson and Adam Smith each added 12 points for the Seahawks (8-10, 4-4 Colonial Athletic Association).

North Carolina-Wilmington, which has won two in a row and three of the past four games in the series, shot 55.8 percent (29 of 52) from the field, with Rendleman hitting 7 of 9 attempts. William & Mary shot 37.7 percent (20 of 53).

Quinn McDowell scored 18 points and Tim Rusthoven added 17 for The Tribe (4-16, 2-6).
