N.C.-Wilmington 64, Radford 50

Donte Morales had 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals to help North Carolina-Wilmington defeat Radford 64-50 on Saturday night.

The Seahawks (5-4) led 26-21 at halftime and scored the first five points after the break to take a 31-21 lead with 17:16 remaining.

Radford (2-8) went on a 10-1 run to pull within 32-31 at the 14:47 mark. Jareal Smith hit a 3-pointer with 7:49 left to play that kept the Highlanders within five points, 45-40.

UNC Wilmington scored 11 straight and 15 of the next 18 points to extend its lead to 60-43 with 3:53 left.

Tolga Cerrah scored 16 points, Johnathan Edwards 11 and Blake Smith 10 for the Highlanders, who lost their eighth straight.

The eight-game losing streak is Radford's first since the 2007-08 season and the second-longest in school history. The Highlanders lost 11 straight during the 1989-90 season.
