Cameron Jones scored 19 points and Northern Arizona shot 54.5 percent from the floor against one of the nation's stingiest defenses in a 74-63 victory over Air Force on Wednesday night.

Shane Johannsen had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Eric Platt added 12 points for the Lumberjacks (8-4), who improved to 4-0 at home.

Derek Brooks scored 15 points, Michael Lyons had 14 and Evan Washington 13 for Air Force (7-3), which was off to its second-best start in program history.

The Falcons came into the game ranked sixth nationally in field-goal percentage defense, allowing opponents to shoot just 36.1 percent from the floor. But crisp passing led to good looks for the Lumberjacks, who converted 24 of 44 attempts from the field for their second-best shooting night of the season.
