MURRAY, Ky. (AP) Gee McGhee scored 16 points, Wayne Langston had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Murray State held on to beat Alabama A&M 63-61 on Saturday night.

Nicholas West made two free throws to give Alabama A&M a 58-56 lead with 2:42 remaining. But a jumper from Jeffery Moss and two free throws apiece from Langston and Bryce Jones gave Murray State (5-2) a four-point lead with less than a minute to go.

Alabama A&M (4-1) was held without a field goal for more than 6 1/2 minutes until Ladarius Tabb's layup off a Murray State turnover pulled the Bulldogs within one at 62-61 with 10.2 seconds left.

Moss made 1 of 2 free throws for the Racers, and A&M's Jacob Perry had a chance to tie it with a layup with one second left, but he airballed it short.
