Isaiah Canaan scored 19 points and Ivan Aska 18 as Murray State rallied to defeat UAB 62-55 Sunday after trailing by 12 midway through the second half.

Donte Poole had all 11 of his points for the Racers (4-0) during a 22-2 run that turned a 49-37 lead for the Blazers (0-2) with 10:17 remaining into a 59-51 Murray State lead with 47 seconds left.

Poole's jumper with 5:09 left gave Murray State its first lead of the second half, 52-51, and he hit a 3-pointer on the Racers' next possession. Eleven of the Racers' points during the decisive stretch came on free throws.

Cameron Moore had 15 points and 11 rebounds for UAB, and for the second consecutive game he blocked seven shots.

Murray State is off to its best start since it won its first eight in 2003-04.
