Donte Poole scored 16 points and Ivan Aska 15 as Murray State won its fifth straight game, routing Tennessee Wesleyan 108-49. The Racers (5-1) set a school record with 25 steals, led by five from B.J. Jenkins, against their NAIA opponent, breaking the team record of 23 set against Colorado Springs in 2001. They also surpassed 100 points for the first time since 2003 against Chicago State. Tony Easley had seven points and five rebounds as Murray State built a 26-9 lead with 12:10 left in the first half. He finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds, one of 12 Racers players to score. Murray State led 52-30 at halftime and began the second half with a 12-4 run to lead 64-34 with 16:37 remaining. Matt Towry scored 14 points and E'Jay Ward 10 for the Bulldogs, who are 2-3 against NAIA competition but have lost three times to NCAA Division I opponents by 41 or more points.
