Murphy, Northeastern rally from 13 points down, beat Vermont (Dec 10, 2016)

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) Alex Murphy had 20 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots, T.J. Williams scored 17 points and Northeastern rallied from a 13-point deficit to beat Vermont 59-57 on Saturday.
Williams had a steal and then hit a 3-pointer to cap a 21-4 run that gave Northeastern (5-5) a 54-47 lead with 2:31 left. Murphy's 3-point play during that stretch gave the Huskies their first lead of the game, 49-47, with five minutes to play.
Trae Bell-Haynes hit Payton Henson for a layup and then made a layup of his own to make it 56-all with 42 seconds remaining but, after Jeremy Miller's layup on the other end, Vermont missed its final three field-goal attempts and made just 1 of 2 free throws and Northeastern held on.
Bell-Haynes led Vermont (7-4) with 15 points.
Northeastern shot 34.8 percent and committed 13 turnovers during an 18-point first half - its lowest scoring half of the season. The Huskies made 17 of 25 (68 percent) from the field after halftime.
