Mullings, New Mexico State beat N. Colorado 86-65

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) Daniel Mullings had 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists on Wednesday night, and New Mexico State beat Northern Colorado 86-65.

Pascal Siakam added 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting, and DK Eldridge and Remi Barry scored 17 points apiece for the Aggies (1-2).

New Mexico State led 41-30 at halftime and shot 18 of 29 in the second to pull away from the Bears (1-2).

Eldridge capped an 11-2 run on a three-point play, giving New Mexico State a 60-42 lead with 12:59 left in the game.

Tim Huskisson was 6 of 8 from the field and scored 16 points to lead Northern Colorado. Dominique Lee had 10 points and 10 rebounds, Cameron Michael scored 13 and Tevin Svihovec 12.

The Bears fell behind 24-14 in the first half and never cut the deficit closer than eight from there.
