RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) Xavier Moon scored 14 points, DeJuan Marrero added 11 while pulling down 12 rebounds, and Morehead State held on for a 70-67 win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night.

Morehead State (12-9, 6-3 Ohio Valley Conference) retook the lead during an 11-0 run that included a 3-pointer from Malik Maitland to go up 43-38 with 14:07 left. Brent Arrington then hit a 3-pointer at the other end and Morehead State sealed it with 5-for-10 shooting from the foul line down the stretch.

Anthony Elechi had 12 points and Lyonell Gaines 10 for the Eagles.
