Kenneth Faried scored 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as Morehead State defeated Saint Catharine 77-64 on Tuesday night.
The Eagles (6-3) shot 14 for 23 in the first (60.9 percent) and led 33-27 at the break.
Demonte Harper led Morehead State with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting (66.7 percent) and Sam Goodman chipped in 18.
The Patriots (5-3) were led by Marquis Lee, 18 points, and Brandon Johnson, 13, but were dominated inside the paint and on the boards. Morehead State posted a 35-20 rebounding advantage and scored 48 points in the paint compared to 22 for Saint Catharine, an NAIA school.
The Eagles shot 29 for 47 from the floor (61.7 percent) en route to their fourth straight victory.
Faried has posted a double-double in seven consecutive games and eight of his team's nine games this season.
