Terrance Hill scored 21 points as Morehead State used a second-half surge to pull away from winless Binghamton in a 64-45 victory Monday night.

The Eagles (5-7), who snapped a two-game skid, shot 52.4 percent in the second half (11 of 21) while the Bearcats made only 6 of 21 field goals (28.6 percent) after halftime.

Binghamton (0-9) led 6-3 early, then Morehead State went on a 7-0 run, capped by a Hill three-point play, en route to a 12-point cushion.

After the Bearcats trimmed the lead to 33-30 with 18:24 to play, Hill and Marsell Holden hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a 10-0 run. Lamont Austin followed with a jumper and a Kahlil Owens made a layup to push the Eagles' lead into double digits for good.
