Marsell Holden scored 12 points, all in the second half, as Morehead State defeated Eastern Kentucky 58-45 on Saturday night in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Lamont Austin and Ty Proffitt added eight points each, and Kahlil Owens and Angelo Warner scored seven apiece for the Eagles (14-13, 7-6), who led 19-12 at halftime after the Colonels (14-13, 6-7) shot just 16.7 percent (4 of 24) in the opening 20 minutes.
Jaron Jones scored 20 points for Eastern Kentucky, 17 in the second half, but the Colonels never again got closer than they were at halftime. Morehead State scored the first eight points of the second half.
Drew Kelly, who scored 26 points when Morehead State beat Eastern Kentucky 57-54 on Jan. 14, was held to five points Saturday night.
Joshua Jones added nine points for the Colonels, and Mike DiNunno had five assists.
