HONOLULU (AP) Stephan Holm scored 19 points to help lead Montana State to a 90-85 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Saturday night.

The game was the second night of the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic as well as the season opener for Hawaii-Hilo. Montana State lost to Hawaii in the tourney's opening night on Friday.

Danny Robison finished with 17 points and Tyler Hall added 14 for the Bobcats (1-1). Montana State shot 55.2 percent from the field.

The Bobcats held a double figure lead much of the second half, pushing it as high as 15 (69-54). Hawaii-Hilo battled back however, and a Nate Walker layup with 1:34 left cut the Vulcans deficit to 83-82.

But Marcus Colbert made a jumper and Robison hit a pair of free throws to push the lead back to five and out of reach.

Parker Farris led all scorers with 29 points for the Vulcans.
