Erik Rush scored 19 points and hit a go-ahead running hook shot with 13 seconds remaining to lead Montana State to a 61-59 victory against Sacramento State on Thursday night.

Rush's shot gave the Bobcats (9-6, 3-0 Big Sky) a 60-59 lead. After Sacramento State's Jackson Carbajal missed a jump shot, Bobby Howard grabbed the rebound for Montana State, was fouled and made 1 of 2 free throws with 3 seconds to play.

John Dickson had 15 points for the Hornets (3-11, 0-3), and Carbajal, Josh McCarver and Duro Bjegovic had eight apiece.

Howard had 13 points for the Bobcats, who won their first road game of the season and defeated Sacramento State for the sixth straight meeting.
