Brian Qvale had 23 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots to lead Montana to a 68-52 win over Sacramento State on Saturday night.
Will Cherry had 18 points for the Grizzlies (11-5, 3-1 Big Sky).
Sultan Toles-Bey had 12 points and John Dickson 10 for the Hornets (3-12, 0-4).
Qvale has 203 career blocks, nine shy of tying the Montana and Big Sky record held by Daren Engellant.
Cherry had two 3-pointers and and a jumper to lead a 15-2 run that gave the Grizzlies a 61-42 lead with 4:47 remaining.
Cherry did not record a steal. He entered Saturday tied for first in the nation in that category.
