Brian Qvale and Kareem Jamar scored 14 points apiece and Montana coasted to a 64-44 victory over Sacramento State Thursday night.
The Grizzlies (17-7, 9-3 Big Sky) never trailed, led 33-23 at the half and held a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
Qvale reached double figures despite sitting out all but 3 1/2 minutes of the first half after picking up his second foul. Derek Selvig added 12 points and Art Steward scored 10 for Montana, which ended a two-game losing streak and remained a game behind Northern Colorado for the Big Sky lead.
Sultan Toles-Bey led Sacramento State (6-17, 3-9) with 11 points. Duro Bjegovic scored 10 for the Hornets, who made just 31 percent of their shots. The Grizzlies shot 42 percent.
