Milwaukee holds off Oakland 93-85

ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) Matt Tiby scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Milwaukee held off Oakland for a 93-85 win Thursday night.

Four more Milwaukee players reached double figures, including J.J. Panoske with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Austin Arians had 18 points, including five 3-pointers, while Akeem Springs and Jordan Johnson had 14 points each for the Panthers (16-9, 7-5 Horizon League), who shot 50 percent from the field.

Leading most of the game, Milwaukee extended its advantage midway through the second half with an 8-0 burst sparked by Tiby's bucket to make it 59-44 with 13:07 left. Springs hit a jumper and sank two free throws in the run.

Oakland's Kahlil Felder dished out 12 assists to set a league record 703 career assists, passing the 699 set by Xavier's Ralph Lee (1982-86).

Felder and Jalen Hayes finished with 22 points to lead Oakland (17-9, 9-4).
