Paris Gulley scored 19 points and Tony Meier 18 as Milwaukee held off Fairfield 67-63 on Saturday.

Gulley and Meier hit three 3-pointers apiece for the Panthers (17-12), who won the BracketBusters game for their second straight victory. Kaylon Williams added 10 assists.

Rakim Sanders posted game highs of 21 points and nine rebounds for the Stags (16-11), a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference team whose six-game winning streak ended. Colin Nickerson added 11 points.

The Horizon League's Panthers seemed in control most of the way, but a 10-0 run that ended with Ryan Olander's 3-pointer propelled Fairfield in front 61-60 with 3:08 to go.

Shaquille Boga hit two free throws for the Panthers before Sanders made a layup to restore the Stags' lead at 63-62.

But then Gulley drilled a jumper for a 64-63 Milwaukee edge.

Fairfield had three shots in the final minute but failed to convert.
