Miller lifts Holy Cross over Bucknell, 65-62 in OT

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) Malcolm Miller made 7 of 8 free throws in overtime and Holy Cross snapped a five-game losing streak with a 65-62 victory over Bucknell on Saturday.

Steven Kaspar split a pair of free throws to give Bucknell 62-61 lead. Mitchell Hahn answered for Holy Cross, driving to the glass and splitting two defenders to draw the foul. Hahn made both free throws to retake the lead for the Crusaders, 63-62 with 24 second remaining in overtime.

Chris Haas missed a trey with 8 seconds left for the Bison. Miller grabbed the rebound, was fouled and made both free throws to cap the scoring.

Bucknell's Dom Hoffman's 3-point attempt hit the back of the rim and bounced out to end it.

Miller finished with 14 points, Justin Burrell added 13 points and Malachi Alexander 12 for Holy Cross (6-8, 1-3 Patriot League).

Nana Foulland lead Bucknell (7-10, 2-2) with 12 points.
