LaRon Dendy scored 20 points and Middle Tennessee rallied for a 65-62 victory over Belmont on Tuesday night after squandering a 13-point second-half lead.

JT Sulton added 13 points, including a tying jumper with 2:20 remaining and a layup with 1:34 to play that put the Blue Raiders (10-2) ahead 63-62.

The Bruins (6-3), who beat Middle Tennessee 87-84 in double overtime on Nov. 20, failed to score in the final 2:06, missing three shots and turning the ball over twice.

Middle Tennessee led 43-30 with 16:46 left in the game, but Belmont came back to take a 50-49 lead on Kerron Johnson's layup at the 10:01 mark.

The Blue Raiders had three times as many chances at the free-throw line in the second half as Belmont, but made just 11 of 24 to the Bruins' 4 of 8.

Drew Hanlen scored 16 points and Johnson 15 for Belmont.
