ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) Michigan will practice at an undisclosed location en route to the Big Ten tournament.

Coach John Beilein says the eighth-ranked Wolverines will stop halfway from Ann Arbor to Indianapolis on Thursday and hit the practice floor after they know the result of the Indiana-Illinois game, which starts at noon Eastern time. Beilein would not say where Michigan will practice.

The top-seeded Wolverines face the winner of Indiana-Illinois at noon Friday. Beilein says Big Ten rules do not allow Michigan to leave its campus more than 24 hours before the game.

So rather than practice in Ann Arbor - with no knowledge of who their opponent would be - the Wolverines will start traveling and then practice along the way.
